In October 2004, the attorney Ryszard Grzejszczak won the case in the Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland concerning the Value Added Tax.

He made the constitutional complaint on behalf of the manufacturer of appliances, Merloni Indesit Company Poland, but at the hearing before the Constitutional Tribunal the law firm was represented by the attorney dr Jacek Skrzydło. .

The Tribunal proclaimed that depriving taxpayer of a possibility of reducing the tax due on the tax charged in consequence of premature settlement of tax violates constitutional standards.
